its just like anything else
you can only go for so long
and when its not up to you if youre one of the chosen few
then why worry when it all goes wrong
just postponing implosion
never grow always slow-mo, proceed to death row
and wait it out til your clout disappears
and you dead horse is flogged to the bones.
we are about to hit a brick wall.
all or nothing and most likely fuck all.
try and smash right through a brick wall
headfirst without shattering our skulls
(same cats at the top don't matter if the rats change
go from the top down hate the player and the game
no more fighting for crumbs, we have the tools to learn to bake
forget the top down, hate the player, hate the game!)
but they know the people that make the styles
and they know the people that build and crush dreams
and they're friends with the people that package the packages
and they know the people that pull the strings
its just unfortunate that those who pull the strings
also pull the wool over the eyes as they cut ties with those who know
so being as we're on the wrong side
i think it's about time that we go.
we are about to hit a brick wall.
all or nothing and most likely fuck all.
YEEEES!
YEEEES!
Twenty years later than I would have liked, but hells yes! I stumbled upon "No manners in Ireland" yesterday, cueing the easiest binge buy in a while. This is a nice blend of skillful instrumentalism, great lead voice and good tunes. The old Toasters / Madness / Bosstones fan in me is bouncing off the ceiling again. Thank you for that. You seem to be gathering steam as well. Here's to a long run! raphaelhythlodai
fell into Days n' Daze when I was travelling, thanks to some of my road dogs. I don't have that freedom anymore but I feel a piece of it Everytime I listen to their music. love y'all! thefool309
